Art Competition Guidelines

The Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Committee of Pinal County invites all High School students in Pinal County to showcase their artistic talent and their commitment to the public understanding of the life of Cesar Chavez by participating in the annual Cesar E. Chavez Memorial Art Competition.

WHO MAY ENTER?

All High School students in public and private schools in Pinal County are eligible. An individual may submit only ONE item for this competition.

DESIGN THEME

Art should express the concept of the lifework of Cesar E. Chavez and his impact on the community, and/or in the world, thereby increasing student awareness of his importance.

HOW DO I ENTER?
1.    Art should be submitted on paper not larger than 11” X 14”.
2.    Complete Application Form to accompany art piece.
3.    Submit completed entry by February 13, 2019 at 5pm to:

AWARDS
•    1st place: $250.00
•    2nd Place: $150.00
•    3rd Place: $75.00

SELECTION
Winners will be selected and notified by February 18, 2019, and will be invited to attend the annual Cesar E. Chavez Celebration Dinner on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. at the Property Conference Center, 1251 W Gila Bend Hwy, Casa Grande, AZ 85122.

Deadline February 13, 2019 at 5 PM.
